It’s Wildcat Season!
Tailgate will be up and running this week – and probably muddy! We’re opening October tailgating with BBQ and all the trimmings. Kickoff is set for 6:00, so we will be shooting for a 2:00 serving time. Please let us know if you’re coming and if you’re bringing guests, that way we can plan the headcount appropriately. And as always, let us know if you want to bring something that will compliment the menu.
Don’t forget to donate early and often, so that we can have an even bigger scholarship to give out this year. If you want to donate online, the link is right here on this main page.
NOTE: We will be actively watching the weather, and if we have to adjust plans due to rain, then we will post updates to twitter. As of now, it looks like the storm moved further east and we may only get a few sprinkles here and there throughout the day.

Tailgate at the Chicken!
Well for the second week in a row, the weather doesn’t seem to be cooperating with us. It probably won’t rain on game day (especially since now we are doing something else), but after getting eyes on our location (thanks Tyler!), it would still be a mud pit by time we set up Saturday morning. But we won’t let that stop us from having a great time before we BTHOulm! This weekend will be the official Northgate Tailgate!
We will plan to get started at The Dixie Chicken when it opens at 10, and just enjoy the day, which may include bouncing around between locations. Be sure to follow us on Twitter @deadmbatagate if you want to keep up to date with where we are throughout the day!
ULM Update Delayed
Well that was an awesome Saturday we had, and I hope no one let a little rain ruin their fun! With ULM coming, it looks like we could be in for a similar forecast. As of now we are not sure if the tailgate will be on, or if we will adjust and plan for a northgate tailgate due to weather. For a small group like we’ll expect for ULM, northgate might make more sense. If you have any thoughts on this, let us know in the comments!
