2017 Road Game Tickets

It’s about that time of year again, but the 12th Man Foundation has given us a little heads up this time.  This year we’re going to head over to Florida on October 14th and visit The Swamp!  Ticket packages will go out on March 1, so we won’t know exact prices until then, but tickets for road games have usually been anywhere from $70-110 so that you can start your planning.  Once we know the exact pricing, I’ll send out another notification with a PayPal link.  Money will need to be in hand by March 10th so that we can get the order in.
In case you missed the last announcement, some of us have already booked a room at the Country Inn & Suites in Gainesville.  The rate from October was refundable, so if a better hotel opens up, we can adjust.
I know there are other games of interest as well, so even though Florida is the official Tailgate Game, let us know if you want to order a different game through us as well.
Feel free to forward on if you think someone else would be interested in joining us, these games are always more fun with more Aggies around!  We aren’t guaranteed all tickets that we request, but haven’t had any issues since year 1 in the SEC.  In the event we can’t fill everyone’s request, tickets will be allocated in the order payment for the tickets was received.

That’s a wrap!

Well the football season ended with a whiper, but the tailgating season sure didn’t!  We hope everyone had a wonderful time tailgating this year, and we’re already starting preparations for next year.  A big thank you to everyone that helped set up, tear down, or even come around to socialize.  We would always host the tailgate even if it was just four of us, but the bigger our group gets, the more opportunity we have to get creative.

Stay tuned to this site and our Twitter account (@deadMBAtailgate) for more information about some exciting changes we have coming for next year, as well as plans for the 2017 road trip to Florida!

Turkey for me, turkey for you, let’s eat some turkey from a big brown shoe…

This will be our last game with LSU on Thanksgiving Day, but it won’t be our last Thanksgiving themed tailgate, I guarantee you that!  We will try to have food ready by 2, but as usual will have to play some of the preparation by ear since this usually ends up being our largest tailgate.  We will have a few traditional items, but what makes this tailgate fun is that it usually turns into a ‘potluck’ as people bring a dish that really makes them think of Thanksgiving!  That said, let us know what you’re wanting to bring (or feel free to not bring anything and just pitch in), that way we can keep this list updated and coordinate so that we don’t have 15 people all bringing yams…  For planning purposes, we usually have about 30-35 adults at the Thanksgiving tailgate.
