While the football season is months away, it is time to start planning the Road Game trip to Knoxville!

We have a couple of options to help our tailgate members make the trip that much easier! This is going to be a popular road game destination as it is one of the last SEC teams that we have had the opportunity to visit.

Our very own Ann Taylor (Storybook Trips by Ann) has arranged a block of rooms in Downtown Knoxville. The hotel is the Courtyard Marriott Downtown, and the costs is $599/night + tax. The deposit is one night’s stay. To reserve your room as part of the block, email Ann at ann.taylor@storybooktrips.com. Hurry, because once these rooms are gone, they’re gone. Last day to reserve a spot is May 30th, unless they book up faster.

We also have a couple blocks of tickets to the game available. To reserve your tickets, email Warren at neerraw@gmail.com. Ticket prices are $125 each, and exact seating will be determined later once tickets are received. These tickets are in the 12th Man Foundation allotment, and more importantly, with your friends of the Dead MBA Tailgate. As with the hotel rooms, these are first come, first served, so when these are gone, they’re gone!

If you haven’t seen, the 2023 football schedule was announced last week, and that means we finally know when we will get to visit the real UT! If you want to roll out to the Volunteer state for the Dead MBA Roadgame Tailgate, book October 14th, 2023 on your calendars. I’m sure the Ags will make the trek, so no promises on what kind of tickets or accommodations we can make as a group, so for now, everything will be for each their own. If you do book something, I encourage you to book something refundable, just so it can be easily changed if we do figure out something for the group. Stay tuned here or on our social media accounts for more information as it is available.

Our 2019 Road Game Tailgate will take us between the hedges to Athens, GA.  One of the teams that will likely be preseason Top 3, so the good guys will need all the support they can get from us!  Our ticket requests are due earlier this year, so if you want to buy tickets through our allocation, we’ll need to have money in hand by 2/22.  We’re also limited on tickets, so we’ll be reserving the tickets on a first come first serve basis, in the order that people pay.  Tickets are $131 each, and if it ends up that you don’t get a ticket (or if ticket prices end up less than estimated), you’ll get your money back.  You can pay via paypal by clicking the donation link to the right, and select “sending money to friends or family” unless you want to have fees added.

Howdy All!

This is going to be a short turn around request, so get your act together and figure out if you’re joining us for the 2018 Dead MBA Tailgate Road Game to STARKVEGAS!

That’s right, we’ll be watching Jimbo Fisher and the Fighting Texas Aggies football team take on the Bulldogs of Mississippi State on their home turf.  The ticket deposit for us to order tickets for you as part of our seating block is $96 dollars per ticket.  This ticket cost is not considered a donation to the organization and is not deductible for tax purposes.  If the ticket prices end up being higher, we’ll need to collect more, or lower and we will refund you.  Money will need to be in hand by March 21st so that we can get the order in.  To submit a PayPal payment, please use this link.

Starkville is light on accommodations for football weekends, so we recommend getting something in place soon.  Some people have had luck with AirBnB (or similar house rental sites) or booking hotels in nearby Columbus (about 20-30 minute drive).

If you would like to order tickets through us for one of the other road games, the associated ticket deposit amounts are: Alabama $116, South Carolina $66, Auburn $96, or Arkansas at Jerry World has different pricing options.

Feel free to forward on if you think someone else would be interested in joining us, these games are always more fun with more Aggies around!  We aren’t guaranteed all tickets that we request, but haven’t had any issues since year 1 in the SEC.  In the event we can’t fill everyone’s request, tickets will be allocated in the order payment for the tickets was received.
