Well that was an awesome Saturday we had, and I hope no one let a little rain ruin their fun!  With ULM coming, it looks like we could be in for a similar forecast.  As of now we are not sure if the tailgate will be on, or if we will adjust and plan for a northgate tailgate due to weather.  For a small group like we’ll expect for ULM, northgate might make more sense.  If you have any thoughts on this, let us know in the comments!

I don’t know about you, but I think this Saturday is going to be absolutely crazy!  We will tailgate all day long, and then go BTHOClemson!  In Jimbo we trust!

Even for a Thursday game, the first tailgate was a good success, but we want to go bigger this week, and with a night game against the #2 team in the country, we should be able to do just that.  Don’t forget to donate early and often, so that we can have an even bigger scholarship to give out this year.  If you want to donate online, the link is right here on this main page.  We will plan to serve food around 2:30 or 3, so that everyone can eat enough to make it through the game.  NOTE:  We will be actively watching the weather, and if we have to adjust plans due to rain, then we will post updates to twitter.  As of now, it looks like the storm moved further east and we may only get a few sprinkles here and there throughout the day.

The Jimbo Fisher era of Aggie football will kick off on Thursday, and I know of no better way to get started than to tailgate like we just won the SEC in a year to be named later.  We are late getting the plans finalized, but the Thursday gameday created some confusion.  The tailgate will be a bit lighter than usual, but we’ll have enough to keep us fed and hydrated.  Tailgate lot opens at 3:30, and we plan to start setting up by 3:31.  We had a great year raising scholarship money last year, and we look to be able to build on that for this year, so please think of donating early and often!  After all, IT’S FOR THE KIDS!

Time to go out with a bang and not let the fact that we have an 11am game turn it into a whimper.  We will have breakfast before the game, and have a little lunch after.  We were planning on having our BBQ tailgate this week, so instead of doing the full BBQ spread, we’ll do BBQ breakfast tacos!  One thing to put out there this week is that we have so many beverages leftover, we really want to try and drink what we have, so we won’t be doing anything special for drinks this week.  As usual, if you think there is something missing from the list, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.  The scholarship fund is continuing to grow!  So we want to keep targeting $20 per person so that we are adding to the fund each week!
