Support the Dead MBA Scholarship Fund: Auction for Football Tickets!

We are excited to announce an online auction to raise funds for the Dead MBA Scholarship Fund! Up for grabs are two sets of tickets to the Fighting Texas Aggie vs. Bowling Green football game on Saturday, September 21st. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the Kyle Field experience while supporting a great cause.

Auction Details:

  • Ticket Locations: Set 1: Section 115, Row 33 (2 tickets) – SOLD; Set 2: Section 125 row 14 (4 tickets)
  • Auction Closes: 1 hour before kickoff
  • Starting Bid: $20 per ticket (increments of $5)
  • Buy It Now Option: $80 per ticket, must be sold in pairs
  • Eligibility: Must be a member of the Dead MBA Tailgate (Gameday membership pass available for $20, which can be added to your winning bid)

These tickets have been generously donated by Kristen Poteet and Jay Graham, and have a fair market value of $100 per pair.

How to Bid: To place a bid in advance, simply reply in the comments with your bid amount and identify which tickets you are bidding on. Please note that any cross-platform disputes on bids or purchases will be resolved based on the timestamp.

The Tide is rolling into town this weekend and we are rolling out Fajitas and Yellowhammers! It’s a 2:30 kickoff so will be served around noon. As always, tailgate donations go to the Dead MBA Society scholarship fund, please feel free to use the PayPal link on the right of this page to make an easy online donation.

We also have a ticket auction this week!

In an effort to raise more money for the Dead MBA Scholarship Fund, we will be auctioning off two tickets generously donated by Jay Graham (thanks Jay!) This will be a silent auction at the tailgate, and the auction closes 1 hour before kickoff and tickets can be transferred digitally. To place a bid in advance, comment on this post with your bid amount, bids start at $50 per ticket with $10 increments. Any cross-platform disputes on bids or purchase will be decided by the timestamp. We are offering a “Buy It Now” option of $500 (they’re selling online for $350 each!). Must be a member of the Dead MBA Tailgate to bid, if you are not all it takes is a gameday membership pass for $20, which can be added to your winning bid amount.

In an effort to raise more money for the Dead MBA Scholarship Fund, we will be auctioning off two tickets to the Fighting Texas Aggie v. Ole Miss football game on Saturday, 10/29. This will be a silent auction at the tailgate, and the auction closes 1 hour before kickoff. Must be present to win (obviously, or else we cant get you the tickets!). These tickets are available thanks to the generous donation made by Sarah and John Deterling, and come with a parking pass as well. To place a bid in advance, reply in the comments with your bid amount, bids start at $5 with $5 increments. Any cross-platform disputes on bids or purchase will be decided by the timestamp. We are offering a “Buy It Now” option of $400. Must be a member of the Dead MBA Tailgate to bid, but don’t worry if you are not, you can get a gameday membership pass for $20, which can be added to your winning bid amount.

Ticket Information: Section 116, Row 4, Seats 8-9; Parking Pass: Choice of Lot 66 or F if using the “buy it now” option in advance. Parking still part of the package, but if not buying in advance, it might be difficult to use the parking (FMV of package: $175)
