Cock a Doodle Doo!

The South Carolina Gamecocks are coming to town! Game time is 6:30 PM, so come out and hang all day. We will be serving gamecock wings around 2 PM. As usual, if you see something missing from the menu or if you have a specific recipe you’d like us to serve for something on the list, please let us know and we will work to make it happen. Also, if you are planning on attending, please let us know by commenting, texting, or emailing so we can make sure to have enough food available.

As we’ve mentioned before, the Dead MBA Society is now a 501(c)3 organization, with all proceeds raised this fall going to scholarships for Aggie students. Being our first year, this will be a learning opportunity, but we would like to try to set an initial membership goal of least $20 per person each week to help fund the scholarship goal!  This gives you access to the tailgate and opportunity to participate in the operations of the organization.  If you’re interested in volunteering to help with fundraising, marketing, scholarship applications, or anything else, please talk to one of the board members or email info@deadmbatailgate.com.  We really want to raise as much as possible this year so that we can use our shared passion for all things A&M to directly impact some great young people’s lives.

Block Your Calendars – 2018 Road Game Tailgate!

The 2018 Schedule was just released, and in 2018 our road game tailgate will be to Starkvegas!  Be sure to block the weekend of October 27th off on your calendar so that you can join us.

It doesn’t look like hotels are available yet, so be sure to keep an eye out because there are not many options available and I’m sure they’ll fill up fast once they are open for bookings.

Wake up early and eat some Cajun breakfast!

We all know 11am games aren’t the best thing in the world, but it at least gives us a chance to relax after the Aggies disappoint us.  As per our usual 11am gameday routine, we’ll have breakfast ready, hopefully around 9, then everyone can come back to the tailgate to watch some afternoon football, and we’ll have a light lunch.  We had a great turnout last week, and made some great progress toward stocking our scholarship fund, but let’s keep the momentum going!  We’re still trying to raise $20 per person per week to feed into the scholarship.  Again, if you’re interested in volunteering to help with fundraising, marketing, scholarship applications, or anything else, please talk to one of the board members or email info@deadmbatailgate.com.  We’re learning how this will work, but there is definitely a huge opportunity to do some good for these Aggie kids.

2017 Season Opener!

This is a new year for the Dead MBA Tailgate, and that means some new information to share with everyone.  We’ve officially been incorporated as a 501(c)3 organization, with all proceeds raised this fall going to scholarships for Aggie students.  Being our first year, this will be a learning opportunity, but we would like to try to set an initial membership goal of least $20 per person to help fund the scholarship goal!  Becoming a member gives you access to the tailgate and opportunity to participate in the operations of the organization.  If you’re interested in volunteering to help with fundraising, marketing, scholarship applications, or anything else, please talk to one of the board members or email info@deadmbatailgate.com.  We are not allowed to solicit donations on campus, so please arrange to set up your membership off-site.  We really want to raise as much as possible this year so that we can use our shared passion for all things A&M to directly impact some great young people’s lives.  Again, this year will be a learning experience, so please bear with us through any growing pains.

Not onto the fun part!  This week we get to regroup and see friendly faces, both new and old.  The weather should be awesome, so no reason not to come hang out and enjoy the company.  We’ll have a fajita dinner and plan to serve around 2 PM.  If you see something missing from the menu or if you have a specific recipe you’d like us to serve for something on the list, please let us know and we will work to make it happen.  Also, if you are planning on attending, please let us know by commenting, texting, or emailing so we can make sure to have enough food available.
