Since the Texas sun decided to play overtime this weekend, we’re switching up our game plan and taking the tailgate to Northgate. It’s a change of venue but not of spirit, as we’ll kick off the festivities at the Dixie Chicken (aka ‘The Chicken’) starting from 11 AM. This local favorite has been serving Aggies since 1974 and is the perfect spot to begin our game day adventure.

Don’t miss out on any of the action if we hop from one spot to another—our Twitter feed will be your live update on our whereabouts and the next destination on our impromptu tailgate tour (which sometimes involves never moving anywhere else).

And let’s not forget the main event: the Aggies taking on Bowling Green. With plenty of time to enjoy the best of Northgate, we’ll be in high spirits to cheer on our team. So wear your maroon and white, bring your Aggie pride, and get ready to Beat the Hell Outta Bowling Green in true Aggie style.

Even though we aren’t setting up tents, we still encourage everyone to donate to our tailgate’s scholarship fund and give back to the next generation. In case you missed it, we recently awarded $3,500 in scholarships to 7 deserving Ags. Let’s make this tailgate one for the books, all while supporting a great cause!
